Speaking of brutal pin locations:
Wind from the right @23mph.
Straight downwind from the tees. 3 ft. From the fringe
Edit: that is #2, par 3 155 yds
. Wound up in the sand behind the pin. Double.
Through the first 4 downwind. Now I gotta got into this gale.

Finished out the season today i think. Played 27 today from just in front of the tips. +24 on the day in stupid wind. Like couldnt even talk to the people i was with windy lol. Ill take it.
@Redneck_toy wind was that bad today here too. Super tough conditions. We were gusting @55 according to the pro shop. Freakin wind was pissing me off. When id try to compensate, id cut through it. When id expect to cut it, id drift. Putting was even harder. Balls rolling off greens and shit
180 to carry from where im standing on a dog leg par five at my lay up shot. Freaking +2 due to poor sand play.

Went out yesterday and hit a medium bucket of balls, walked 9, then hit another medium bucket before coming home. Swing is becoming pretty repeatable, with probably 80% being solidly struck.
Started with a double, due to blowing my second past the green and lost. (135, 9 iron)Overshot the 2nd hole (156 yds.) With an 8, then a 9 as well.
So it was a double, double, par, par par, bogie, par, par, bogie. Freaking watch refuses to link up for gps distances, and the wind has most pins down, so laser is useless.

EDIT: No surprise, but these rounds this week with well struck shots have all been alcohol free...

Same. Pretty much. 10yard gap. Carry distances being, 7 being 155 when im striking decent. 6i and 5i follow 10 yards. 4hybrid is 185-195 carry with high flight, 3i is 200-210 low flight, 5w is same but high flight. Driver is 180-280 high, low, left, right

Shot an 87 today, 45-42. Played the front 9 again and shot a 41. Striking was not even good, really. Did have a chip in from the sand for a bird on 10, this time with witnesses. Have only had 2, both on this hole. I did burn at least 5 edges or more on putts. Speed was just a tad off

Played 27 again today. 88 for the first 18. (Played the tips) Driver is frustrating. 2 way miss.Irons are good, but still fat 5 or 6 through the round. 2nd front 9 (from the whites) came in at a 2 over 37 with a double on #6 par three.(Hit the sand) Had two birdies to offset that. Everything came together as far as striking, driver included
Hope I dont sound like I'm droning on about my swing, but pretty determined to become a somewhat competent golfer before I get old.
You're supposed to be good at golf when you're old, and I'm already 49.....
If yall are sick of hearing about it, let my know, and I'll shut up.
Edit: Golf Pad absolutely refuses to load up on my watch. It's a great app when it's working for a galaxy watch. Think it's time to call customer service.....
