I'm glad others see the problem. I like the guy, but he is sandbagging like a motherfucker, and lays the course out as he sees fit for these things. I might drop a hint with a guy I work with that >s a city commissioner.....

Played 36 holes today. Shot a 78, 86.
No foot wedges, etc. I did play all the shots up though.
EDIT: My golfing buddies are already calling bullshit on the 78. Whatever. They're just working and jealous. It was an honest score, (minus the playing it up, which we always do)
Previous best was an 82.
On top of that, we have a local rule about playing up a grip length in the fairway...

So, this week went from 78, to 86, to 88, back to 86, and now my back is so stiff, I barely made a 92 today. To top it all off, my "friend" enlisted us in a Two Man Scramble tomorrow morning from the tips against a guy that regularly shoots in the low 70's.
FML...

Played both days this weekend.

91/88. Same course. Not overly hard but with my wild driver who knows how many balls I lose in a given day. So definitely can't complain.

I played both as well. 82 / 84. Just lots of little mistakes both days, although I did rip one OB on 17 (sailed high and right @mitetak you would have approved of the swing) on Sat that cost me a 70's round.

Hahahah! It's been weird. In both rounds my overall miss was what looks like a Pull Left with the driver. EXCEPT that I was aiming left and playing for a fade so it always started on my intended line with NO FADE DAMNIT

Small misses are killing me. Season goal is to break 80 from the blues. May have been a little optimistic . Driver was on point this weekend, fades and draws on command. But GIR led to poor lag putting and up and downs were non existent. Weather was fantastic though and i got to play with my old man so life is good!

Shot an 86 today, with a +5 on the par 5 15th. (2ob shots), and a nasty double on 16 (par 3) overall hit them pretty decent. Was 3 over at the turn.
Had some great missed shots, fat ones that didn't cost me too much..
Played with a buddy from work and his wife
