I've played maybe 5 rounds this year already. Enough to know that my swing is back to the way it was at the end of last year (meaning NOT good)
Went out Friday morning and played 9. Cold and drizzling, but hit some really good shots. Need some range time, but my personal life is crazy right now. Have had 4 family members die since early December, and spent last weekend at my mother's house, for her husband's funeral. ( Refuse to call him my step dad) Heading to D/FW the first weekend of April for yet another memorial service for my father in law.
Maybe mid to late April I'll be able to sort my swing out.

we had two 70 degree days last week - one course in the area opened. it snowed again saturday. so we're not quite there yet!

I do have a trip to MD planned for end of April to get a bunch of golf in. We'll see how that goes!

Got out yesterday (fairly unheard of up here). Shot an 89. Started my day with a lost ball so I'm not upset. Drove one green (still three putted for par - but followed that up with a birdie). Was 37 degrees at 9am and there were still four groups ahead of us when the rest of my group got there around 940 with more people streaming in. SUPER busy and ended up being a gorgeous day after the warmth kicked in.

The 5.5 hour round hurt tho. Thankfully it didn't feel that long.

Think im gonna start playing Bridgestone Tour BRX. Played one a little last few rounds and they play soooo much better in wind than Snell MTB X and Kirkland. Also play further than both. Also gonna ditch my 5i and add another hybrid. Anybody else making any changes this year?

once I get through owing taxes, replacing my driveway (asphalt), two concrete walkways, redoing the garage floor, getting a new push mower and a new grill

Not this season. She picked up the game probably 12 years ago? slowed down a bit when the kid was born. got back into the last few years. last year was probably the most she's played in a season ever. shot a few of her lowest scores too.

she's relatively excited to get playing this year. We actually don't play together often. usually one of us is with the kid while the other golfs with someone else.

Put my Ping G400s back in the bag the first of the month. I like the PXG, but they aren't near as forgiving on mis hits. A little thin, and your hands sting like hell. Figured if I'm struggling hitting center, might as well use the old clubs instead of putting wear on the PXGs.
(Just don't tell the wife I'm back to my old clubs) HAHA

This sounds like a recipe for disaster. stick with one set otherwise you'll start compensating for one set and then put the other into play.

Absolutely you can. Touch of buyers remorse with these. Should've just bought the newest Pings. Might have a buyer lined up for them though.

That sucks!!! My 0.02 though, stinging hands is feedback. Potential to become a better ball striker with clubs that offer better feedback. But . Are they roughly same length/lie as your pings?
