So, where are all the golf nuts hiding?

Played 9 yesterday after work. Did not play all that well. One birdie, one par. The rest were bogeys with one double. Golf pad app on my watch did not transfer the info when I connected to my phone after the round, so I lost all the data. Not sure what happened. I can manually enter the shots, but the distances and misses left/right wont be there.
Kinda aggravating.

They only took our rakes for a couple weeks.
Doesnt matter though, because half the people wont rake them anyways, much less repair their divots. I fix 5 to 10 divots per green everytime I play. SMH.

We haven't required plastic in carts for quite a while as well. However one local course still has them in.
No, I mean we had several (higher end mostly) courses that were still at one per cart and just 2 weeks ago added plastic to be able to do 2 per cart. Seems like we're way behind - still not pulling flags either.

yeah no flags and no water on the courses. some courses have the ball washers out too though along with the rakes

its not super consistent up here

Courses arent supposed to have rakes out in MN, or washers or sand. I was so happy this course had rakes out. I leave major foot prints when i play outta sand. Raking with my club bugs me. Would love to see sand back on the carts too.

I kept pulling the driver out - purely out of stubbornness and not proper course management.

Played Sunday......same thing. I knew id hit it well at some point. Finally on 18 i was proved incorrect and put it away for the day.

Quick question on adjustable lofts.

Brought my clubs in the house to clean them up, wash the grips, etc. I started looking at my lofts on my hybrids and woods. I play a 23* and 20* hybrid. Been playing both on the +2 setting. I'm thinking the +2 means ADDING 2* of loft, effectively making them 25*, and 22* respectively. Am I right in this assumption? I've realized with my 4hy in this setup, and my 5w (18* normally) at +1.5*, the difference in distance between the two is only around 10-15 yds. Just checking my thinking is right before I start playing with the adjustments.
Would like the 5w to be more than a 215 yard club

EDIT: After playing with the loft adjustment a bit, it looks like the loft is getting stronger, meaning the + setting is strengthening the loft, not taking it away. Now I'm definitely confused.....

depends on the club and manufacturer really.

i would suggest seeing if you can find anything online regarding their adjustments.

but I'd assume +2 would be adding two degrees of loft versus taking it away.

Yeah, that's what I surmised by perusing the interwebs. Plus is adding, not making stronger
