Three months isn’t exactly “age” by any means; more like the bare minimum rest/acclimatization period many of us give before smoking a cigar... What cigar is good ROTT? You’re on like 5 different forums, this can’t be news at this point.

I think two to three weeks should be the minimum. Some think the water pillow makes the rest unneeded but I always wait.

It turns wood and stuff so I can get 6 hours into making something and then break it LOL!

I tinker with making pipes and ashtrays and such. Amateur pipe maker, beginner wood turner.


Stupid Tapatalk

I started with the Delta Midi also.
It's a great little turner.
Re Ashtrays - I find it much easier to drill/router the rest holes prior to turning.
