Not sure if it was because I smoked a pipe before smoking it but it was pretty bland to me. Light toast and a tiny bit of spice was all I could get out of it. Burn was horrible too but it was very windy.

Sounds like you answered a lot of your own issues . Haven’t had one in over a year and I’m not an AB fan to begin with, but I enjoyed it. Different strokes for different folks.
