I recently got a Nest thermostat thingy for the house a year ago. Somehow i ended up with an extra wire i dont know what it does, but guess what... my house humidity is lower now that the heat season is up and notice my whole house humidifier isnt running. Anyone have some expertise on this subject? I'll throw some photos up of the wiring before/after and in the furnace.

Not sure if this helps but it looks like it would connect to the asterisk but now what wire if your blue is power and now there is no power going to the humidifier. Maybe check to see if there is power on the blue. If none it may be getting the power to the humidifier when the furnace is on.

Not a specialist or know what I'm talking about by any means, but there should be a blue wire between the red and green by the schematics you've posted.
