Time to get out of Munich, going down south to garmisch, but hitting up Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles up first.
This place is loadddddddded with tourists. I had to wait in line for an hour just to get tickets. After all the walking I’ve done I wasn’t going to pass up the horse...
Last dinner in Munich at the Ayinger Brauhaus. Got the sample beer they store in small casks on location and tap starting at 5PM. Also got to try some German schnapps, very tasty, and strong.

After the bmw museum I swung by the Nymphenburg Palace for a quick photo.
And stopped by a nearby cafe for a quick lunch. I think the desert was some sort of cheesecake with apricots inside, either way it was delicious.

Visited the Viktualienmarkt, which was just of bunch of stalls / farmers market type thing, not much going on since all the rain that was happening.
Tried visiting the Munich residence but it was closing down for the day, so I just checked out the sprawling building complexes which made it...
Day 3 Munich
Hopped on the subway to town square (Marienplatz) I’m time to grab a cafe seat to see the noon display of the famous glockenspiel. Very touristy, tons of people come to see this as it only happens at 11am and noon.

After a couple hours at Oktoberfest I departed to Munich center. Found an awesome davidoff lounge in the Kempinski hotel, high class, so I had a few cigars to relax for awhile since it has been raining on and off this whole trip!

Day 2 Munich
Slept in until 11am and then headed via public bus to Oktoberfest. For as early as it is, there are still many people here, I can’t imagine what it’d be like late.
