I dont see a ball response difference until im wearing long johns, 35° or colder. Im sure theres a difference warmer than that but none of us play good enough golf for it to really be a factor. I cant imagine anyone is playing that cold in Texas. But if you frequently play 95°+, i could see...
Ball flight is definitely shorter the colder it gets. Spin is also reduced. I personally loose more distance from wearing multiple layers than from the actual ball performance in cold weather though.
