Not heresy - drink it the way you like it.... The ice/cold however is definitely killing off any/most of the aroma/flavor profile you are searching for If you're feeling adventurous, skip the ice & add just a splash of water (less than 1/2oz of water)

Yes. Blantons is great stuff, but hard to justify the cost vs what you mentioned If nobody has ever tried Evan Williams Single Barrel - I will always sing its praises for being at under $30 & readily available

A very tough choice - since the shape for me generally depends on what blend I am smoking, so its kind of asking which is my favorite baccy at the same time. For universal-sake, definitely a billiard (bent or straight) since I find it works with almost any blend

By the time it gets here and sits on shelves - its generally had way too long to sit - especially if its not refridgerated

Guinness for me has always tasted better on tap - theres more richness to it - usually stay away from cans/bottles
