So you will have some idea of how these are going, I am offering a short review.

Starting out very smooth with honey and oat aromas, fresh tobacco with a nice earthy note .

Typical J-O medium body with grassy undertones. Light leather and oak notes.

Second third gets a little more intense, but still medium body .

Final third starts to show its youth, a bit of sharpness and slight grip, with a bit of young tobacco rawness.

This is very typical of this size cigar before is has found itself through adequate aging.

Several more months will put this batch right, and I look forward to the time.

Don't be put off if these are a bit awkward during their first year, they need time.

I always set my sticks on a counter on a towel for 2-3 days and let them dry down.
Since these are very fresh, it's a good idea to dry them first.
this also lets any ammonia smell go away.
turn them 3-4 times a day and don't let them touch each other.
try one after 3 to 4 weeks.
I store them in a cedar cab, this is my preferred way to age them.
you can mix them with other cigars , I find they refresh older sticks, and get good faster.
thus endeth the lesson..........
