Best thing to do is hang out in the lower tours (keeping your trophy count low) for a while until you get some decent upgrades on your clubs. My dumb ass raced through the first 5, and now tour 6 is kicking my ass. Getting paired against way better players now. Wish my trophy count was 350 instead of 600 for this reason
Well that's good to know. Guess it just takes a bit to learn these little nuances of the game.
Is there a point that we can play against each other or is it all just a one hole score as much as you can thing ?
And has anyone, anywhere ever actually said Nice On while actually playing real golf ?????

If you link your account to Facebook, you can play your friends for coins. It's still a 1 hole, 1 on 1 match though.

I'm not sure on cards vs. Trophy count.
I do know there are a shit ton of sleepers out there with badass equipment and low trophy counts.
It also puts you in the lower flights during tournaments.
Last night I hung out in tour one all night. Lots of eagles made, and several great looks at an albatross. Entered the 9 hole tourney as well, but doubt I'll make the cut this time. 6 under through 9. Sitting on the bubble right now:

After last night’s drubbing in the tourney qualifier, I can say with certainty that the game doesn’t always match you with someone of similar trophy count.

Thay claim your not really playing against the other person in a tournament, but when they reach the green in two because they have way better clubs and eagle the hole, I gives you a par even if you were about to putt for a birdie. But you're not playing against them.......

Careful, it's highly addictive.
thats weird - when playing against someone in the tourney you should get one less than whatever they got. quite often I end up with birdies when someone eagles a hole (and I might still be in the fairway)
I noted this in chat but in the last tourney my trophy count was ~600 - I played against someone with 2300 trophies - and we were in the rookie category - yes the lowest one for the tourney and he has 2300 trophies!!!
