Any blenders? Need advice

Got some John Patton Dark Horse that needs a chaser.
Not sure who the culprit would be. I like other cigar leaf blends (Key Largo & Billy Budd).
I hold my opinion on most baccies, but this stuff if just too disagreeable. Not sure if its a bad batch or what, and it is not worth shipping to a brother.
Any ideas on what I might add to drowned out the demon?
The wife has a ton of aros if that would help.
Been piping for a mere five years and have never mixed/experimented before.
Tossing would be the next solution.

I've made some blends I didn't really care for better with additional Latakia, others with Burley or Kentucky, and others with cigar leaf. Really depends on what I don't like about it in the first place.

And, there's the rub. I have no idea what is causing the bad taste.
The smoke honestly taste like day old cigar.
The culprit should be the cigar leaf, correct?

That would be my assumption. I had a similar problem with C&D Gray Ghost. I mixed it with GLP Abingdon, which I think has too much incense flavor, and not bad at all. I don't like Dark Horse either, but I like Oriental Dusk a lot. I would try adding some Burley and Virginia to Dark Horse for balance.

I would toss it. Adding will just water the nastiness down instead of counteracting it. You will probably still find it disgusting no matter what.

I disagree, that is one of the beauties of blending! The puzzle, what fits where! It sounds like fun to me!
