I think that would probably be a great pipe for flakes, ropes, and plugs due to the short wide bowl... Think Jackknife, Happy Brown Bogie, Dark Flake, etc.
First smoke in the recently acquired estate Castello Old Antiquari, C&D Burley Flake #1. It has a slight Lakeland ghost, but I'll fix that by smoking a ton of strong Burley blends in it [emoji16]
I had both of these when they first came out. Thought the regular Bees and Hornets were better, but I did not have them long enough to age at all. A lot of the BLTC cigars get better with several months down time.
