Prepping some wrapper now, I have some cased binder I can snap pics of later. I open the wrapper leaf and spritz evenly with distilled water, then put them in a plastic bag to come up to case. Since it's hot and this candela is thin, it will be ready to go in a few hours.

Just a gentle spritz on one side of the leaf (usually the front, the side you would have facing out when you wrap). Then place in a large trash bag and tie the end and let it sit. You want the water to have a chance to absorb into the leaf completely. The midrib should become flexible as well so...
Depends on the binder. Ecuadorian binder a half leaf is strong enough. Nicaraguan binder I still use a half leaf, but cut it in a way that it is two layers thick
